Abandoned Cart Recovery

Email customers who left items in their cart so you can recover the sale.

When a customer adds items to their basket but doesn't complete checkout within 24 hours, the basket is marked as abandoned. Storra automatically emails them a reminder with a one-click link back to their basket.

How it works

  1. Customer adds items to basket — captured automatically once they enter their email at checkout.
  2. If they leave before completing payment, the basket sits in Abandoned Carts with status "abandoned" after 24 hours.
  3. Storra sends a follow-up email with the basket contents and a link to resume.
  4. If they complete the purchase from the email, the abandoned cart row is closed and the order shows up normally.

Configure the email

Go to Followups. Edit the abandoned-cart template — subject line, body copy, optional discount code to include in the email. Variables like {{ customer_first_name }}, {{ basket_total }}, and {{ resume_url }} are available.

Reporting

The Abandoned Carts page shows recovery rate (recovered / sent), revenue recovered, and per-basket details so you can see which items abandon most often.

Disable

Toggle Send abandoned-cart emails off in Settings → Notifications if you don't want to send these. The basket still shows up in the dashboard for analytics.
